Booties! And Summer/Fall Outfits to Match!

Fall is fast approaching! And with the end of long, warm Summer days come the beginning of crisp, cool transitional eves… Now for those of us familiar with Bay Area weather conditions we are keeping our fingers crossed that amidst all the changes in foliage, we are still blessed with a delicious, basking Indian Summer

Even so, these times can be hard to dress for. Starting the day with a cool morning, followed by a toasty afternoon and into a chilly, breezy (hell, windy!) evening/night-time, it’s no wonder why the bootie is becoming a popular and trending style choice. It is versatile and chic; sophisticated yet edgy. I love pairing my various bootie cuties with tucked-in or ankle length skinny jeans and a tank OR with a hi-low skirt and tee! I’m including some cute snap-shots of a few bootie options that would suit any girl on the go! They are fun shoes that can be dressed up or down… So get creative! Additionally I will include some outfit ideas for further motivation!

FUN OUTFIT ENSAMBLES!

Here I paired those cute LF lace-up booties with an Alternative Apparel hi-low skirt in a creamy, heathered oatmeal. For some funk  I added a red and off white striped cut-out shirt with a lightweight Madewell denim vest. Easy, breezy, beautiful BOOTIE girl!

I thought it would be fun to keep adding flair to these gorgeous SUTRO booties by wearing them with Mother Denim zip-up ankle skinnies! The rich burgundy/wine color adds to the bold brown of these yummy, heeled and tassled booties. Why stop there!? Keep rocking the cutting edge by wearing a muscle graphic tank like this one by Remain, as well as a sexy cut-out sweater. (Both tank and jeans were bought at Hawthron Boutique in Oakland)

This last outfit consists of Joe’s Jeans in a flattering ankle cut; perfect to wear with any bootie because it’s the right amount of jean to really help show off those cute booties you are parading in! Since these Dolce Vita shoes have a fun embellishment, I went with a simple floral tank with a surprise back by Free People and for when the weather tapers down, a cozy John Galt sweater.
